UPCOMING EVENTS
FRI., MAR 5, 7:30 PM - BOY'S VARSITY BASKETBALL VS. WESTLAKE - "WHITEOUT"
Tournament action begins for the (18-2) Battling Bees on Friday at Midview High School against a tough Westlake team (15-6). The boys' will be wearing their white jerseys so come show your "pride & spirit" by "putting on your white" for the big game.

Now is the time to jump on the bandwagon and have some fun. Tournament time is a blast when you have great student and community support and it means a great deal to our players.  So ...what are you doing Friday night? BEE THERE!!!

BASKETBALL
Boy's Varsity (18-2, 9-1) While the conference title was already wrapped up, Medina put the finishing touches on an incredible regular season defeating Lakewood Monday night 62-42.  Jake Kinsey, who scored a career-high 11 points and a team-best 11 rebounds, jumpstarted the offense in the first half and gave the Bees the jolt they needed.  In the second half, Tyler Peters (17 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists) scored 9 of his 17 points in the final frame.  Kenny Kaminski rounded out double-figure scorers for Medina, finishing with 12 points and 8 rebounds.

The Bees earned a "bye" the first round so tournament action begins this Friday. With a win, Medina would play Wed., March 10 @ 6 pm against the winner of Amherst and North Olmsted.  GO BEES!!!

GYMNASTICS
Taylore Urban earned her second straight trip to the State Meet last Saturday at Painesville Riverside Districts. Urban advanced in all-around (15th with 35.225); beam (10th with a season-high 8.975) and bars (17th with a 8.7 after a deduction from a fall).
